🤖 Improved MINEO Assistant

MINEO Assistant now allows users to create data apps with custom layouts directly from the Assistant. This feature supports a wide range of widgets, providing more flexibility and personalisation for your workflow.

With a simple prompt, you can create full-featured data apps and scientific notebooks.

Quick Assistant is now faster and more responsive, covering a wider range of use cases. It can also now be disabled for individual users, giving you more control over personal preferences.

🗂️ New Version Control Panel

Version control has been greatly improved. Consecutive changes are now grouped together and users can tag notebooks, restore previous versions and even load a specific version directly. This makes managing your notebooks more organised and efficient.

📑 Enhanced Block Panel + Table of Contents

The Blocks panel now includes a document table of contents based on titles defined as widgets or markdown blocks.

You can also reorder blocks directly from this panel, giving you more control over your document structure and allowing you to see your document at a glance.

This is particularly useful for long scientific notebooks.

🤗 Hugging Face Integration

We're delighted to announce that you can now search for AI models directly from MINEO and automatically generate the required code to use them. We're especially excited to tell you that using Hugging Face models from MINEO is now easier than ever!

• 📝 Widget Form Enhancements: Form Widgets now allow linking form values directly to Python variables, enabling users to read and modify values programmatically. We've also added the ability to create multiple dependencies between form fields, making forms more dynamic and interactive.
• 📥 File Downloads in the Background: Exporting large ZIP files has never been more efficient! Folder exports now run as background processes, allowing you to continue working seamlessly while files download in the background.
• 📂 New Widget File Download: A new download widget has been added, allowing users to easily download files of any type. This feature is ideal for sharing results, reports, or data directly from a notebook.
• ‍🔔 Notification Pop-up Enhancements: The pop-up notifying users about session limits for organizations has been improved for clarity.
• 🔧 Toolbar Positioning: The toolbar for blocks has been repositioned for improved usability.
• 👤 More Default Avatars: We’ve added more avatar options, and the onboarding process now automatically suggests one if none is chosen.
• ⚡ Faster Image Folder Loading: Thumbnail previews for image folders now load significantly faster.
• 📊 Improved Table Widget: Tables now adjust better to the block height by default.
• 💻 Code Block "Soft Wrap" Support in Data App Mode: Code blocks in Data App mode now support soft wrapping for better readability.
• 📈 More Icons for KPI Widgets: We've significantly expanded the set of icons available in KPI widgets to better fit different needs

• 🗑️ Deleting Blocks: Fixed an issue that occurred when deleting multiple blocks in quick succession.
• ❌ Assistant Open Error: Resolved an issue when deleting blocks while the Assistant was open.
• 👥 Group Avatar Display: Fixed a bug that prevented group avatars from displaying correctly.
• 🔀 Moving Multiple Blocks: Resolved an issue where moving multiple consecutive blocks caused sequence numbering errors.
• 📂 ZIP Import Duplicate Files: Fixed an issue where ZIP imports resulted in duplicate files if names contained trailing periods.
• ⚙️ Style Block Radio Field Error: Corrected an error where an empty value in a multi-option (radio) field was incorrectly interpreted as zero instead of the default value.
